GenePool is a software package that provides analysis tools for the detection of shifts in relative allele frequency between pooled genomic DNA from cases and controls using SNP-based genotyping microarrays.

Version 0.8.1. is the first official release of GenePool. The primary development environment for GenePool is 32-bit Linux and this is the only officially supported platform at this stage. Having said that, the code is ANSI C and should theoretically compile on any Unix platform where the GNU compiler and development tools are installed. If you have any problems installing or using GenePool or you have suggestions about how to improve the software, please contact the development team at: genepool-help@tgen.org.

Please Note: the download process involves registering and then clicking on a download link that is emailed to you. A small number of people have reported that they never received their download email. If you do not receive your download email within a couple of hours of registering, please contact us at genepool-help@tgen.org and we'll work out an alternative method to get the download(s) to you.
